We, currently, are 49 active volunteers of refugee aid INGA e.V ..

The name "INGA" comes from the Wülfrather peace initiative INGA from the 1980s, when the rearmament of the power blocks in East and West has caused great concern to the people. After the change of the power structure, at the end of the 80 years, the world has not really become more peaceful. What began in Tunisia in December 2010 soon spread like a land fence across many countries in North Africa and the Middle East. Protests, uprisings and rebellions shook the autocratic systems of the region. People began to leave their homeland, not to be victims of war and terror.

Not only the world, but also the INGA has changed. In the face of the great refugee movements in Europe, our assistance today concentrates exclusively on the care of refugees living in Wülfrath, thus a contribution to inner peace. The activists of the past have come a long way, but many younger ones have followed their example to make a contribution to a more humane world.

INGA is now a local aid network for asylum seekers and refugees, with the aim of helping refugees stranded with us to deal with everyday problems and integrate them.

INGA, teachers, social pedagogues, theologians, and, above all, committed citizens from Wülfrath, who want to give the refugees who have been involuntarily stranded in Wülfrath a bit of hope for a human life.
